Chip Andreae is the Founder and President of Andreae & Associations, Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm specializing since 1991 in risk management and government relations strategies for international firms operating in emerging markets and across the globe. For 13 years, he worked on Capitol Hill, including four years with the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and five years as Chief of Staff of Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana.
Andreae served with the International Republican Institute and the National Democratic Institute, helping train newly created political parties in the emerging Central and Eastern European democracies. From 2004 to 2008, he was Chief Executive Officer to Bell Pottinger, USA, where he led a multi-national effort to assist the United States Department of Defense with a classified program based in the Middle East. Andreae also serves as Vice President of Policy Impact Communications.
